It's amazing what stores like best buy or circuit city try and sell these cables for. I paid 8.99 for 6.4' hdmi cables from newegg and they work outstanding! Not one single difference in picture quality or sound between my 9 dollar cable vs. the one my father got tricked into buying when he got his hd tv last year for almost a hundred bucks. Monster cables are absolutely nothing but a rip off!
