Probably old news but it looks like this is up on yesasia for November 19th. The interesting thing I noticed is that the running time is 121 minutes and here in the us (coming in a couple of months) it is 118 min.

Can anyone confirm the mega star HK release is longer than what we are getting?

now that this has been released in the US, can anyone tell me the difference between the regular release and the collectors edition? i am thinking of picking it up from amazon since it dropped to $15 but am trying to decide which version to get. why is the collectors edition cheaper than the standard release??

Collectors edition includes bonus dvd full of extras while non-CE only has extra DVD copy of the film. personally Id go with the CE and for less $ than the non-CE, its only that much sweeter!

22 minutes cut seems extreme....would like to know what was cut also?

Yes, piece of shit is the best way to describe this movie. Some of the action is ok. Wouldn't know enough about Chinese history to say that it is 'revisionist' but I suspect a lot of it is incorrect.

There is a movie coming up called White Dear Plain, I think that's the title. That sounds like a better movie. But this is probably the worst chinese movie I've ever seen that trys to explain some Chinese history. I've just started watching the Great Magician though......

caught this on Netflix streaming the other night.
while some of the action scense were ok, this movie was boring. Didn't care for any of the cast,

[Show spoiler] ...would've been nice to see Europe invade at the end and take it all.

the nicey~fresh slipcover was surely eye catching in the stores, ...dodged that bullet.

I wouldn't buy it. It's worth watching though. The acting is quite good and it's quite funny, especially the Bully warlord and his bulldogs.
