Jagga Jasoos (English: Detective Jagga) is a 2017 Indian mystery comedy adventure film written and directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. The film features Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, and tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. The film was released on 14 July 2017.

Damn! A relative of mine is in India for the next few weeks, so I was hoping to have them bring this back for me. Hopefully it ends up releasing and we don't have to settle for the DVD.

Actually all the four proposed releases, Jagga Jasoos , A Gentleman , Bareilly lki Barfi and Mom, which were up for pre order , have gone Currently Unavailable suddenly

Its not related to this movie and I don't want to create a separate thread. In general, how is the quality of Atmos Tracks in Reliance BDs? I purchased couple of old Reliance BDs with HD Tracks, they are very mixed bag. Surrounds are quite aggressive than necessary. Is it the same with Atmos tracks as well?

Could be because of Disney pulling out of production in India.

This was a delightful film. Great use of songs as extensions of the dialogue, which I'm not sure has been done in Indian cinema in a long time. Katrina Kaif was expressionless, as usual. Someone with a little more spark would have been better in her role.

Didn't know they pulled out. I remember seeing posters with the Disney logo, but I got the BD in India and wondered if Disney was only handling non-India distribution. Thanks for the clarification.

No. I suspect only Aamir khan production discs *may* have subs on extras. Others wouldn't be bothered.

Tried several times to get through this movie and it's just not happening. It's a genuinely cool concept, basically a TRUE musical, but it gets dragged out too much. Why do we need a whole mystery to happen before even getting to the A plot? Just tell the main story. There's barely enough here for 90 minutes, let alone the ungodly runtime this thing has. Nice songs and cinematography, and it's nice to see Ranbir do something other than play the rich playboy who wises up when he meets the perfect beautiful woman. Just wish the movie were better. Gonna have to hock this at some point.
