Canada SAW 1-6 Collection Steelbook

I have no idea how I stumbled across this but I've never seen it or heard about it before. The listing states it to be a DVD collection but the available image has Blu-ray labeled all over it. The image also shows it to be in a Steelbook. I've never heard of this retailer before but this is apparently only $43.18 (Canadian). You can check it out here:

Yeah, it does look like G1 size but still, it also looks to be a Blu-ray. Hard to tell without contacting them first.

Yes, very true. Good find. I just would'nt buy it myself, if it is G1.

Looking at the other products they sell, it looks highly suspect.

Their other box sets of TV Shows look like bootlegs and/or other region releases.

It looks really fake. It'd have to be G1 because G2 Steels cannot contain more than 3 discs.

Yeah no way I'm sending them cc info or paypal. That site looks completely amateur and fly by night. If they are legit I apologize but for now no way.

Reminds me of these.

IIRC, Jurassic Park had that same Universal-esque white curve/swoosh at the bottom as well.

True in a sense but a jumbo can hold 6. The CDN and USA LOTR Jumbo holds 6 discs.

For sure fake. I would only trust Brana, and Amazon in bringing me SB news.

Aye, I did mean "normal" sized G2 Steels. I have repressed Jumbos.

The font for the text that says "SAW I - VI" is the same font of how the Germans have released it over there. I am calling fake on this. Because Lionsgate's Canadian branch Maple Pictures is the distributor whereas that cover has a Universal slogan for all their Blu-rays at the bottom of the cover. FAKE!

They modified the German Blu-ray boxset which has films 1 - 5. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Saw-I-V-Blu-ray/7374/

Definitely a sketchy website. I saw they had Mutant X seson 1-3 collection (region 0, lol) which I know isn't currently available, let alone anywhere near the price they'd have it at. In fact, the only places I've seen with it were always bootleg sites

Just looking at the spine alone makes one doubt this product as a true steelbook. We would have heard about this before now if it was real.
