Friends who are passionate about 3D reproduction, I open this thread with the intention of comparing myself and trying to be helpful. My experience has been very troubled in search of optimal and satisfying viewing of 3D blu ray. I tried all the possible and imaginable settings, but there was no way. There was always something wrong with the viewing of films. My setup consists of an Oppo 105 blu ray player, a receiver and a video projector. I noticed that if I went directly from Oppo 105 to the vpr, the films from BR disc had a perfect quality and color, as well as a 3D effect. If instead they were loaded from USB, the quality was very poor, if not imperceptible as 3D. I tried everything but I couldn't figure it out. Recently I noticed that by inserting the receiver into the chain, i.e. 105-AVR -VPR and having the AVR do the color conversion, I returned to having playback as God commands! There was probably some kind of error processing information from USB ISO. I am not a technician and I do not understand the reasons. But that is it. I naively thought that the 105 did not need any help and was able to manage, process and send everything autonomously, but it is not so. I noticed the same difference in the files always loaded from 3D USB and not.
