Interesting article. I like SSD's alot but limited selection of storage sizes is mainly what keeps me on the HDD side of the fence. Also, the PS3 is unable to stream the data fast enough from an SSD now according to that article. I believe that the next iteration of our PlayStation will have to incorporate better compatibly with SSD technology. Of course this is just me yakking so don't judge!

Nice read. Even as prices of SSDs drop, the price/performance ratio is still too high, when you consider the list of titles that will glean benefits from its use, however small. It's still a pricey investment, unless one loves RAGE or Skyrim (and perhaps a few other untested titles) on consoles.

Yeah, the high price and small storage capacity (at least for me because I need 500GB which is what I currently have in my PS3) are they two negatives for SSD.
