Well I am gonna buy a few blu's myself but also my girl just usually gives me giftcards from places like Best Buy and Frys so I can pick my own movies. Got Em!!

I picked up LOTR for my brother when amazon had them for $8 each.

I picked up for myself predators, the expendables, the sorcerer’s apprentice, inception, Harry Potter UE #’s 3 & 4, knight and day, and the shrek collection for x-mas.

Needless to say, I’m not making my wife get me anything this year.

Normally I give movies a lot for x-mas, this year I’m only giving my brother those and my dad Criminal Minds season 4 dvd.

The only Blu-ray I am asking for is The Town. I plan on picking up a few BDs on boxing day as the prices are usually pretty hard to turn down. I'll try to restrain myself to only buying 3 or 4.

I asked for COD: Black Ops for my PS3 for Xmas.

I got my boyfriend The Patriot as it was on sale thru Amazon. trying to have him get me Despicable Me, but it's not working.

Asked for quite a few blus from my family, including Grindhouse, Alien Anthology, Inception, Apocalypse Now 3-Disc edition, and Avatar Special Edition.

Meanwhile, I bought my gf a blu-ray player (she just got an HDTV, so perfect timing!) and the Rocky Horror Picture Show blu (she's a huge fan, having seen it in theaters over 100 times... me = twice ). I also found the Karate Kid remake on blu for $10 on black friday, so I got it for my dad. He went from being someone who saw the trailer and said "I will never watch that film" to giving it a chance on blu-ray and saying "wow, I like it better than the original!"

For the life of me I will never understand why women cry when they get a marriage proposal. Oh well, I'm sure she'll remember it as her favorite Christmas gift. I'm getting a bunch of blu rays that I ordered myself. I HATE suprises so I always pick out my own presents. I got a bunch of cheap titles on BF, and I may still get a few more movies. I even bought a few DVD's. Titles that will never see a blu ray release obviously.

I'm not sure about some of them, mostly the ones that bombed at the theater and on DVD. Although I am utterly amazed to this day that Short Circuit got a blu ray release. I love the film, but I cannot see why it was released on blu ray.
