Philips BDP2500 Can't update my firmware! Help! - Blu-ray Forum

Can someone please help me.

I'm trying to play The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus on my Philips BDP2500 but it won't go beyond the title menu. I have tried updating my firmware by downloading the zip file from Philips website. I extracted the folder named UPG and transfered it into a thumb drive. I then inserted the thumb drive into my blu-ray player and went to the "software download" under settings. However it says that it cannot find the update software.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is there anything I missed out? Thanks in advance!!

Have you followed exactly this PDF guide here?

Can you try another drive? Is it formatted to FAT/FAT32?
