I just helped a friend setup his Denon with his old PS3 (60GB) and have a few questions.
the 60GB PS3 is out putting PCM right? when we played "Cars" I selected the lossless codec and "PCM" lit up in the top left of the receiver but it didn't say Multichannel on the display. I thought when sending PCM it displays "multichannel" or is that a different receiver? And does it matter what mode the receiver is in? We chose neo 6 as the subwoofer kicked on when we did that. It sounded good but just want to make sure its set up correctly. And finally he is replacing the main PS3 with a slim version. Will the receiver auto detect the signal when bitstreaming? thanks guys. |
