Exclamation Madeleine McCann.

Hi guys.

Hopefully you'll have heard about four year old Madeleine McCann who was abducted from a Mark Warner complex in Portugal a little over a fortnight ago. The Portugese police who have uncovered very little evidence now believe she could have been taken out of South America and into Europe.

In the UK, a huge fund has been collated to keep the search going as well as in the international headlines. In addition, people have been circulating emails with her picture on in an attempt to get her recognised and found.

She has a very distinctive right eye, something that most people would notice.

There is a pdf poster that can be attached to emails here: http://www.bringmadeleinehome.com/pdf/poster.pdf

Please could you email the above pictures and links to everyone you know, hopefully she will be found and returned to her parents safely.

The number to ring if sighted is (for outside UK): +44 1883 731 336

Thanks.

Hopefully your local / national news stations have been broadcasting news about her and her family. It seems that word is getting round the world and the more people that know about this, the better the chances are of finding Madeleine.

Please, if you can, donate anything to the fund here as every little helps. If it doesn't help to find Madeleine then it will help to find other lost children and that will always be a worthy cause.

Thanks for your time.

Yes, its a terrible story. And the fact she hasnt been found yet might mean someone wanted to keep her. I'm afraid, from the Algarve to Spain is a mere few hours drive, and she could be anywhere right now. Let's hope police find clues and investigation leads to her discovery.

I haven't been following this on the news, frankly, because children are lost, are kidnapped, runaway, disappear, everyday. To be honest, I refuse to give this Madeleine special attention, just because their parents and the british authorities decided to stage a media frenzy. And to be even more honest, the pope going out of his way to welcome the parents in the Vatican, with the event being broadcast live across the world, was too much.

Just while writing this post, a child died in Africa due to malaria / and malnutrition. Support Unicef, Doctors Without Borders, OXFM, Red Cross. Be political and demand your government to care for ALL children, not just cute-eyed blond little girls.

Anyway, repeating: Hope she is found soon.

J.

Because an innocent four year old child has been abducted. That frankly should be reason enough for anyone to take interest in the story.

Moreover I have two young nieces and if anything happened to them I'd be damn sure that I'd do whatever I could to help out. This is simply human compassion and trying to get as many people aware of this missing child as possible. Since this is an international forum I posted up the links and info, just as I have on two other forums.

This is sad. Story Link

Quote:
MADRID, Spain (CNN) -- Portuguese police are investigating an area nine miles from where a young British girl was abducted after a tip-off to a newspaper in the Netherlands.

An anonymous letter claiming four-year-old Madeleine McCann's body is buried under rocks in deserted scrubland was sent to newspaper De Telegraaf and passed on to the Portuguese Policia Judiciaria.

A Dutch police spokesman said: "On Monday De Telegraaf received a letter from an anonymous sender which contained information about where Madeleine McCann may be.

"The letter included a map of the area where the sender claims she is. The newspaper handed the letter over to the police on Tuesday and immediate forensic tests were carried out.

"Today (Wednesday) the police sent the letter and the forensic report over to the Portuguese Police for immediate investigation. The sender is unknown and there has not been any further correspondence from the sender with the newspaper or the police. We take this case very seriously.''

According to De Telegraaf, the letter said Madeleine was buried "north of the road under branches and rocks, around six to seven meters off the road" in a barren and deserted landscape.

A map came with the letter, with crosses marked on it.

Madeleine disappeared on May 3, when her parents left her and her 2-year-old twin siblings in their hotel room while they dined at a restaurant in their hotel complex in Praia da Luz, a resort town in Portugal's Algarve region.

Since then, parents Kate and Gerry McCann have launched an international campaign with the aid of celebrities such as soccer star David Beckham and J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, in the hope of finding the girl. The couple had a brief meeting with Pope Benedict XVI.

"2 Arrested in Missing UK Girl Case"

They are not believed to have been involved in the disappearance. Apparently they tried to extort money from the family. The postive part is the story is back in the news. The more publicity the better.

I hope their terrible actions end up helping the case.

and watching hd dvd's until his eminent death.

but seriously south america is a ****ed up place to live. Man on fire is a good example. Street gangs that notice a foreigner assume that they have money or better yet think that stealing something very important from them almost guarantees a large sum reward. And they right it almost always does. Crimes rule the streets not the government over there.

With this much time having gone by with no news, I'm not really surprised that all of a sudden Madeline's parents were named suspects and the mother has come forward and is working towards some kind of plea deal.

That says it all, sadly. You can see this at any news outlet you prefer.
