The Mauritanian (2021) Jode Foster - Blu-ray Forum

I liked this more than I expected. A little hokey at times, but Jodie Foster and Tahar Rahim especially were outstanding.

When I saw it an AMC, they had spanish subtitles play through the whole movie. I'm guessing this was a mistake? Did this happen to anyone else? It was kind of odd/distracting for much of the film.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, in association with STX Films, has dated its upcoming Blu-ray release of Kevin Macdonald's The Mauritanian (2020), starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Shailene Woodley, Jodie Foster, Tahar Rahim, and David Fynn. The release will be available for purchase on May 11.

I'm assuming this will be region free as Freaky, Promising Young Woman, News of the World were? Although I suppose it might not be given it's STX.

Spanish release from Vertigo on July 21st, will there be forced subs? Or any parts of the film not in English?

I finally got to see this on Showtime. Jodie Foster brought her A-game and Tahar Rahim was exceptional, but as a whole, I found the movie sort of flat. But I enjoyed the story that I knew little about, and people should see it for those two central performances.
