Default Pioneer VSX 820K (or other models in the line) problem?

I don't really know the internal structure of receivers very well so please bear with my description.

I was looking at the inside of my 820K from the top vents and realized an abnormality. The build of the 820K and upwards are supposed to be the same so I guess any owners of the higher models can answer this as well.

At the very front of the receiver (inside) one of those silver ridges (or bars) is bent. I'm referring to the row at the very front of the receiver when you look from the top down. I don't know what function this part of the receiver serves but would the part being bent cause any problems? Thanks in advance for the replies.
