United Kingdom BEATLES Appreciation Thread

Let's have some thoughts on your favourite Beatles songs/albums and whose song-writing you preferred?

I've always loved the White Album slightly above the others.

I loved the White Album as well, but my favorites were Revolver, the White Album, Abbey Road, and Rubber Soul.

I have a lot of favorite songs I can list off the top of my head, but Yesterday and A Day In The Life has to be my favorites.

So... who's your favorite Beatle?

Revolver all the way!

The clerk at Wal-Mart looked at me like I was a mad man when I came up to the counter with all of the the remastered albums.

My favourite is a sentimental one, and only because it was the first LP I ever bought back in 1967. That album was "Beatles '65", and I still have it!

Revolver would be my favorite album slightly ahead of Sgt Peppers. Favorite song is a tie between Taxman & If I Fell. Favorite member is Paul.

Just for the hell of it...favorite album under the influence "Magical Mystery Tour"

Abbey Road (that medley! ), Revolver, Rubber Soul, and Sgt. Peppers for me.

"Here, There and Everywhere" is their best and most underrated song, imo.

I can't decide on John or Paul as a favourite during the Beatles days, but certainly prefer Paul's solo work.

John was a hero though... genuinely hilarious as well, going from a biography I was reading and of course interview footage.

What do you all think about Brad Pitt playing as John Lennon in his upcoming biopic?

Abbey Road is the one.
Revolver is the honorable mention.

Wait, what? Wasn't there already a Lennon biopic last year (Nowhere Boy)?

I've loved and listened to the Beatles since I was a kid (now 32). I can hardly pick a favorite album, it varies yearly, monthly, daily!

I'm pretty partial to Rubber Soul, although Sgt Pepper, Revolver, With the Beatles, Help, and the White Album are up there too.

I've also switched my favorite Beatle between John, Paul, and George, but it always comes back to John.

Btw, I went to school at Arizona State University and took a Beatles class there! Got an A.
