Default Sony KDS-50A3000 Hdmi 1.3?

Anyone know if the Sony KDS-50A3000 is Hdmi 1.3? No one seems to know, for me it is a deal breaker if it isn't.

Yep!

Link

From the Features page

BRAVIA HDTV's performance has now advanced to the point that the color range can be defined by limitations in the original video source, rather than the TV. Thanks to the adoption of a newly approved international color standard called xvYCC (an option in the HDMI v1.3 spec and which Sony participated in creating), the color space has been greatly expanded.

Here is the thing, they are tricky how the word things. It doesn't say it has hdmi1.3 it says it has xyvv color thing. Now the sony bdp-s300 does the xy color to but is either hdmi 1.2 or less it has been proven. I think they are trying to get people to think it is hdmi 1.3 when infact it isn't.

for the BD-S300, I think sony mislabeled its abilities, but for the HDTV A3000 I believe it is accurate to say its 1.3

yup. LCD would kick ass, but if its out of your price range, the A3000 would be worth it. I was actually looking at the A3000 over Labor day and wishing I had the money!

You can go with the LCD unless picture quality is what you're after. The SXRD A3000/XBR5 will rip the XBR4 LCD's head off and crap all over it's neck when it comes to picture quality. No comparison!
