Default Saw 3D Review Thread (Spoilers)

EDITED FOR THE "MOTION" POSTER. PEACE!

http://thescorecardreview.com/news/2...the-works/4546

Oh, you are mighty tricky, Jigsaw. And Strangers? Just get out.

A seventh Saw movie has just been greenlit by super hit-makers Lionsgate, according to Variety. While the sixth installment of the torture for redemption franchise is due in theaters October 23rd, the next sequel is aiming to start shooting next January.

David Hackl, who was production designer for Saw II, Saw III, and Saw IV, and also directed the oh-so wonderful Saw V, will helm Saw VII. Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, who wrote Saw IV, Saw V and now Saw VI will sit down at their gold-plated typewriter for Saw VII. (Golly, would it kill this franchise to consider at least using a subtitle?)

Oren Koules and Mark Burg, producers of the six movies of the franchise, will continue to do so.
Oh God. I'm a Saw fan but for the love of God, make it stop!

Exactly, I think they should have ended the series right after saw2.

Did they really even need to make 2?

I personally only liked part 1... The twist endings are all that really mattered and unfortunately they have gone away from those.

Is VH1 going to have another one of those "Scream Queen" shows to find the next leading lady?

You asked for it!

Let's hope they don't make a Saw XXIII while they're at it.

If that were to happen, the entire series would be meaningless and wouldn't exist to me anymore.

I think Saw VII - Saw IX, the so-called Jigsaw murderer is probably going to be Jill Tuck, John's ex-wife. There was production photo on Saw V that had Jill in a pig suit and the box. Inside the box was photographs. So, judging by that, it's 99.999% her.

They should have stopped after the first one. The first one was legitimately good; a breath of fresh air in a genre that has become very stale over the last decade or so. The sequels have all been gimmicky and useless.

Sadly this has become a Halloween tradition for me. They need to make one 3-D it is the rage now. The only way they stop, is if people stop going to the theater to see them honestly. Though are thinking a new direction for Halloween now that the last one flopped big time.

$56 million on a $10 million budget is not really a bomb, imo.

+1..I stopped watching after the 3rd one. I don't get the hype. The first one was very well done. Like Hostel but it's just getting ridiculous now. I'm still waiting for a re-release of the 1st one since it's bare-bones crappy audio and crappy PQ.

Pre-production has stated, ALL READY!!!???

http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/335...pre-production

Quote:
Even though Saw VI hasn't even graced a single screen yet, Lionsgate is pushing forward with the seventh entry into its long-running franchise entitled Saw VII 3D.

David Hackl (Saw V) will be taking back the director's seat to hopefully right a lot of the wrongs committed in the dismal fifth entry of the franchise.

According to Hackl's Facebook page:

"SAW VII 3D pre production begins TODAY!! The story is always the most important thing in my opinion. This time I want it to be a game for everyone. I want to create the effect of feeling like you are right in a trap."

Nothing else is known other than Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton have returned to pen the screenplay. Keep it here for more as it comes.
Oh, joy the writer's from 4 - 6 and the director of 5 is back too, JOY TO THE F***IN' WORLD!!!
