Default LG BD570 wireless setup and connection problem

My LG BD570 Blu-ray player arrived yesterday. I viewed a number of reference Blu-ray DVD's successfully and found both visual and audio quality to be as good as expected.

However, I have encountered one problem that I have not been able to resolve. After I ran out of procedures to try based upon the LG manual instructions I phoned LG Service yesterday and failed to speak to a representative even after waiting on the line 1 hour 16 minutes to do so.

This morning I again phoned LG Service and waited 1 hour and 22 minutes for a representative and again failed to do so. I will try once more tomorrow.

The problem encountered is the failure of the network function to obtain a connection. After many failed attempts to setup the wireless network via the dynamic IP function, I finally did a manual input of my Cisco router information and got through the "test" function. The message displayed stated that the connection setup was successful.

However, when I attempted to gain access to the internet to obtain a movie, an error message displayed that there was not a network connection and presented the settings menu.

I went through the entire procedure five times. Each time the test was successfully completed. Nevertheless, I still cannot gain access to the network to obtain movies.

The Cisco router is hard-wired to my desktop PC and wirelessly connected to my notebook computer when it is in operation. Each of these computers access the internet without failing.

For the purposes of setting up the BD570 for wireless use, I placed the unit two feet from the router and PC. The signal strength shown was the strongest possible. Thus, distance and signal strength are non-factors.

If I cannot speak to someone at LG tomorrow to resolve the problem, I will send the unit back and buy another brand.

Any Suggestion?
