Heavy Rain Problem

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this in. I did a search for just plain ole Heavy Rain, but came up short. So I made this one.

My issue is just this.

I just poped the game in my phat PS3, waited about a half hour for 1250 plus MB of updates. I get past all that & get to the screen where it tells me to keep my "Move" controller tight; I don't have a "Move" connected though. It then go's black, screen icon on the bottom right pops up letting me know it's loading something.

The next screen is a screen with a picture showing the PS Eye, saying either connect it or press the "X" button to continue. It will NOT continue.. Not one damn button will work except the button where I can quit. So I try that thinking I can back up & try again. Well when I it the quit button, it hangs, beeps twice like it's trying to do something, & that's it. I can't even quit the game without completely turning off my system from the back, which is effin crazy..

The game will not play. Wont load up or anything. WTH is going on? The updates loaded, WTH wont it get past the PS Eye screen? Has this happened to anyone else? I want to play this game already, but I simply can't get it to play.

My friend has a PS Slim, & it plays fine. I have a PS3 phat with the basic controller without rumple. Not sure if that's the problem or not. I just need help getting it to play. This is BS.
