I saw the first episode of MasterChef last night. I thought it was pretty interesting. It was better than this season's Hell's Kitchen. Did anyone else watch MasterChef?

I missed the original airing last night, so I'll have to watch it on FOX's website. Big fan of chef Ramsay (especially Kitchen Nightmares, not so much with Hell's Kitchen), so I'm curious to see how this series will fare.

I really liked the first episode. I know it is really early but I think Mike(First person to win an apron) has a great shot of winning it.

Just watched the premiere. I think Fahruq has a good chance to win it if he remembers everything.

I watched this week's episode, but I felt a little bored. It's not interesting as I thought it would be. Hopefully the show will pick up and become more interesting.

what exactly is this show all about? i like hells kitchen and kitchen nightmares so i assume i would like this one...

Yeah, I think this is like the induction part then it should heat up once they narrow the field down.

I wish all these shows would just start at the X amount that will compete in the actual competition (aside from Idol, those auditions are the best part). Seriously, we just went from 1,000 to 30, then next week we're cutting that in half. Why not just show us the 15? Or whatever they cut it down to to really start?

Saw both episode so far and it seem interesting enough...next week is when the competition really starts, will have to just wait and see it its a keeper for the rest of the summer or not.

Anyone watching this season??? It was supposed to be on last night but Obamas speech was on at the same time...

does anyone know if last nights episode was played later on or if it will be airing next week?

Supposedly we will have 2 episodes tonight, the one that should have been on last night and the normally programmed one. Not sure though, Fox's schedule doesn't show that, only 1 hell's kitchen and 1 masterchef.

Just to be on the safe side. I am DVR'ing Oprah after MasterChef, just incase they are showing last nights episode in place of the new episode. Then showing the new one right after that.

There was only one epsiode of each last night, right? That's all that was on my DVR...

the monday night ep. was a repeat of last week.

Christian will probably win. i can't stand Suzy. she has that wtf face everytime they zoom on her, it's freaking annoying!

ha, i dont mind her but her faces are hilarious....what does annoy me about her...when she is up for elimination....her eyes get all bug eyed and looks like shes forcing herself to look like shes about to cry haha...

so far though, it looks like Christians the man to beat.... i want Ben to win right now though... doubt it will happen though
