Default The Val Lewton Horror Collection

I'd love to see a Blu-ray release of the Val Lewton horror films.

Cat People (1942)
I Walked With a Zombie (1943)
The Leopard Man (1943)
The Seventh Victim (1943)
The Ghost Ship (1943)
The Curse of the Cat People (1944)
The Body Snatcher (1945)
Isle of the Dead (1945)
Bedlam (1946)

I own The Val Lewton Horror Collection on DVD, but would love to upgrade to Blu-ray at some point.

This collection I would own in a heartbeat...grew up with all of them...Cat People was probably my fav out of them all. A set I would have to go w/o food for awhile to own!!!

Thanks for the thread Great Owl!

These would be perfect to release on Blu, either like the DVD collection you mentioned or release them separately as double features like they are in the set.

My favorite is The Body Snatcher. Followed closely by Cat People, Bedlam, The 7th Victim, and I Walked with a Zombie. They're all so good!

I'd jump on such a set ... in a heartbeat!

It may be tenuous, but I'd love to see the Jacques Tourneur connection extended enough to see a Blu release of Night of the Demon as well. (Preferably the UK cut.)

And I just now realize this DVD collection is out of print? Well, that's what I get for waiting...

Dang. . . . well there's always the individual releases. I got my set last year.

My favorite's THE 7th VICTIM, hence the avatar, followed closely by I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE.

I'm hoping the Hammer Horror collection and Special Effects collection have sold well enough to grant a quick release of these films on bluray.

It came out 10 years ago. What were you waiting for?

Out in France and Spain in the longer UK cut. I'd rather keep a box set just to the Lewton films.

As good as some of the famous releases like Cat People were, I would want to own this for Isle of the Dead (1945). I didn't know much about that movie, but it was an instant favorite. Really awesome film!

Not from Warner themselves or any other single label, but this one slowly seems to be assembling. Hoping for I Walked with a Zombie, Isle of the Dead and The 7th Victim to also get announcements soon. Don't care much for Ghost Ship and Bedlam. Leopard Man, I somehow don't recall if I liked it.

Edit: Oops, just realized this is the wish lists thread, do any of the mods think it worth shifting to the main forum because now at least the individual titles are happening?
