Square trade amazon warranty

hello everyone I'm about to purchase a 70 inch television off amazon like right now and i want to get the square trade warranty but do i have to buy it at checkout or an i buy it after i purchase the tv and has anyone had any experience with square trade and do they only cover the value off what the tv cost thanks in advance everyone hopefully i can get some answer pretty quick so i can order it

u have 30 days to do it. if they cant fix the tv they send u a check or paypal u the amount u paid for the tv so is u pay $2000 for it u get 2000 back if its not fixable.

Thank you very much but I see that on squaretrade.com it cost 299$ for the warranty but on amazon it's only 133$ for the same exact warrant do you no if there's a difference or the reasoning the extra cost

Places like AMZ and Costco and other vendors that sell Squaretrade warranties sell them at cost. If you buy your TV with AMEX then get two yrs warranty with AMEX as opposed to the standard one yr warranty. That combined with Squaretrade gives you 5 yrs of coverage.

Keep in mind that you will be dealing with the manufacturer with the warranty claim for the first yr and Squaretrade after that.
