I think they will keep that one until MWC next month. It would kind of take away hype from the psp 2

I would love a major new update. We already had v3.56 today. I'm tierd of the security udates. I want some new features already!

All the talk about how theyre gunna handle games. Digital only or both physical and digital.

IMO they need both. Digital ony through PSN would mean set prices and no competition from retailers = bad for te consumer. If they go digital only they need to allow Places like Amazon to sll them aswell.

As for physical games I would say they should use some sort of flash card. Theyre cheap enough and should be fast enough transfer rates for games.

I think all of the above is gonna happen and it's a no brainer. I mean you can buy download copies on amazon and gamestop, so I don't see why they would take that away right now...

And physical copies are a must and I think Sony knows it. The general population is nowhere near ready for a DD only future for games/movies.

Especially notthe UK. Broadband speeds are terrible. Most people dont even reach half mb upload speeds. And average download is 3-6mb Unless you pay a premium for fibre optic.

The other thing that bothers me is the rumored 3g. I dont see them having 2 SKU's for this so it would be standard. But will you need to have a plan like with the iPhone.

personally I would never use the 3g. Again, 3g speeds are capped in the UK my tmobile is capable of upto 7mb. Faster then my home broadband. But its capped to 0.35Mbps down and 0.10Mbps up with average 147ms ping

What makes you think they won't have 2 (or more) SKUs for this? PS3 and PSP have more than one SKU, as a matter of fact, they each have 3-4 out at any given time (counting bundles). I feel confident in saying there will be more than one SKU, the precedent is there.
