Default sorry for a boring subject, but I need cup holders! :)

My media room (view my HT gallery) seating is made up of couches and chairs, none of which have built-in cup holders. Drinks always end up being placed on the carpet, and I'd really like to provide cup holders for most seating positions. I was hoping to find something that could attach to an armrest, and/or hook onto the back of the front-row couch, for use by guests sitting in the back row.

I've looked on Amazon and have done some Googling, but haven't found anything that would seem to work. In my head I picture a plastic, u-shaped device that goes over an armrest and can expand/contract to fit the width of the armrest of a couch or chair. The problem is I don't know if such a thing actually exists! I figure it's a long-shot, but I thought I'd see if any of you guys have an idea for me. I know that side tables could be a solution, but I'd like to avoid cluttering up the space with furniture.

its going to be hard to find something that doesn't clutter that room.

ideas :
some speaker stands, the thin kind, with some kind of cup holder/s on em.
some temp folding stands. then remove em when not in use.

keep us posted on what you get.

I am not sure if the couch with have something to put this in but how about poker table cup holders that have the tabs. If it doesn't work exactly, it might be able to be modified.
