At last after a long waiting, i got my copy today. I would say this is the perfect selection for Blu Ray lovers. I didnt like the movie, but i was sure that it would look great in BD. Iam so happy that it lived beyond my expectations..All blu ray lovers, go for it!!

Yes, I strongly recommend it for the great visuals. The PQ and AQ is topnotch. Why should we go for blockbuster movies released on poor quality BDs? Go for this one, i dont think anyone will regret for buying Raavan BD.

I wouldn’t say that Raavanan was a bad movie

I would somewhat agree if some folks felt that it didn’t live up to expectations of how a Mani Ratnam film should be but it was in no way a bad movie. Given its subject matter and the epic legend that it’s based on, audiences already know how it’s going to end and it really couldn’t have ended any other way.

What makes it a riveting film is the way it portrays the concepts of good & bad that leaves the audience thinking about whether did Good really triumph over Evil in the end? And at what price?

The film gets you thinking and makes you want to watch it again. The film has no dazzling special effects, exaggerated sets or flashy costumes and hairstyles for the central characters. What it does offer is characters that you care for set against a story that even if you are already familiar with, makes you want to sit through the entire movie towards the inevitable conclusion.

At least, that’s my opinion

I think you have not got the cinematic experience. Go for the Blu Ray, you will like it.

Ravaanan is too good interms of breath taking visuals and sound track. even though the movies lacks a strong story line it keeps you glue to the screen. so go for it.
