Being from WI, can't you just keep it on your back steps most of the year?

My beer is in my basement, and even then I tend to let it warm up for 30 minutes before drinking it......

You need to drink cold beers faster, or drink darker beers

Most "good" beers, regardless of color, get better as they warm a bit. It's the opposite for beers like Bud, Coors, Corona, etc. imho.

yeah the shittier the beer, the colder it has to be.

example: in college we would get a cheap ass keg of milwaukees best(the BEAST) but we would chill it to the point of not being able to taste or smell it, hopefully it would be so cold that it would numb your tongue as you chugged it, the goal was just to get sloppy drunk obv

Mmmmm..... Beer popsicle.

Damn, the things you discover on the internet. Did a search for "beer popsicle" and discovered the "hopsicle". And in the same link, discovered a link for "fried beer". I am sensing a busy weekend of experimentation. May need to pull out my old lab coat.

My dad has a set of mugs that contains water between the layers of the mug. You freeze the water and pour your beer in there. Its similar to adding ice but not getting nearly as much water in the beer as it melts.

Personally I drink my beers a little warmer because it brings out the flavors more but my dad likes those mugs. I suggest you give them a shot

I had one of these when I was a kid and loved it for fruit juice. I imagine it would work well for beer also, without freezing it. I don't think ice crystals would form by the time you finished it because of the alcohol.

Slush Mug

Of course a frosted glass mug from the freezer aways works well in the local Irish pubs too

I'm kinda paranoid, because introducing a liquid into hot oil is kinda bad.

I am going to have to be very confident in my technique. May even pull out my welding helmet, jacket and gloves.
