thanks in advance for any info or help in regards to this matter.
i currently own a rxv2700 yamaha reciever and have the accoustmass 16 series as well. yes i know what everyone thinks of them. but what is done is done. my bad. but with the 1 series i have 6 cubes along with a subwoofer. i have been thinking of adding another speaker but as everyone knows about bose- all speakers have to go through there subwoofer. so my question is- can i add another speaker without it effecting the other speakers even though im not running it through there subwoofer? thanks |

im sure it wont affect the speakers since youll be connecting directly to the receiver but it may sound different. i used to have an acoutimass system and from what i remember, i used 7 dual cubed speakers and they all connected to the sub. perhaps it depends on the model. perhaps you will consider upgrading the front 3 speakers and using the cubes for surround.

thanks first for your input. im considering just keeping those speakers only cause of funds. i am considering using the extra funds for either the aventage 3000 yamaha or the apollo berkline 45002 recliner fully loaded. getting back to the bose set up though- there is no space on the subwoofer to add a cube to other then the 6 thats already plugged in.
