Default Dog Day Afternoon?

How is Dog Day Afternoon's PQ?

The reason I am asking is because I recently rented Full Metal Jacket and wasn't that impressed its picture quality. I blamed the fact that it was an old movie that was just converted to HD. But I am worried it will be the same on Dog Day Afternoon

I have this BD and thought PQ was pretty good for an old film. I haven't seen Full Metal Jacket on Blu-ray.

For an older film release I thought the PQ was really good, you could tell its much better than the dvd release.

I Agree. There was a texture to it that is not detectable on DVD that actually gives it an atmosphere, that would be lost if it was really clean like Ice Age. However this is a personal preference. This is going to be up to personal choice. It would not make the top 5 Blu-ray WOW list.

I love FMJ until the guy kills himself. The movie sucks after that.

I just got home from work and was scrolling back through the thread and saw your avatar. Nearly crapped myself.
