I've been looking at IKEA's Dioder (link below) light strips to put behind my Kuro as a back-light. Is anyone using these lights for this purpose and/ or what are recommended lights for this?
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20119418 Thanks! |

Kuro's shouldn't need backlighting. And in that regard, I wouldn't use IKEA lights, if only because their white isn't only 100% accurate and not at the right color temperature.
I love the IKEA lights, but for display/decor/entertainment purposes only, not as actual backlighting. Try Cyron, or one of the other specialized brands for backlighting - there's a thread around here somewhere... |
