Excellent film. Not liking the cover art too much though.

Same here I really wish they went another route for the cover. Was hoping to have a nice simple cover for this movie.

I wholeheartedly agree. Mulligan, Garfield and Knightley were fantastic in this.

Yup....I was hoping they used the poster artwork:

[Show spoiler]

Would of made a nice looking slipcover.

Yeah same here I wanted the poster with them running on the boardwalk. Nice and simple but instead we get a cluttered cover with to much going on IMO.

I love how they added it in the bottom right hand corner. LULZ.

That's weird as it keeps showing up while other times it doesn't. Borrowed the one you posted if you don't mind for the first post.

Yeah I found that funny how the cover art I bet most people want is in the corner of the case as a small square.

I really wanted to like this movie, but I couldnt. I thought the acting was wonderful. The story was just a little confusing for me. I did NOT read the book so that could be the reason. I just felt like they could have went in a different direction towards the end.

One of the year's best, and features the best female performance (so far) of the year.

That cover is atrocious.

With the Blu-ray being double the cost of the DVD at this moment, and with all the same extras, it is a tough sell for me. Probably will be alright with the DVD version for the time being for me.

The back cover of the BD lists Region A+B for those interested.

I saw this at a festival in the UK last year, but the film hasn't even been properly theatrically released here yet, and it's coming out on BD in the US in a few days!... I find that strange, considering it's a British film, but different rights for different countries, I suppose...

I did really like it (One of my top 10 of the 60+ films I saw in 2010, and generally underrated), but I may hold out for the UK release because I'm not a fan of the US cover at all.

I got this through on Saturday, Quality is Excellent.

It has a few Extras:

The Secrets of never let me go.
Director's on set Photography.
Tommy's Art.
There is another extra, but the title may give the Story away so i wont put it here.

It is 5.1 DTS-HD

Subtitles are in, Spanish, Portugese, Traditional Mandarin and Cantonese.

i don't believe so. i haven't seen any pics that have led me to believe it does.

______

why oh why is this $30?!
i guess i'll just have to wait for a price drop. maybe rent it after my trip to BB. heard nothing but good things and really anxious to see it. especially after seeing how excellent Andrew Garfield was in The Social Network (and of course Kiera Knightley being almost always gorgeous helps lol), i have high hopes for this

Anyone know the best place to pick it up yet? Seems like Amazon is the only place where we know the price for this.
