Default Valentine's Day 2011

What are you wanting? What are you gifting?

I usually do the usual chocolates and flowers for my mom, some sort of movie or book and treats for my dad, and something for Macruz. He hasn't really decided what he wants this year, but I generally have a hard time picking out Valentine's Day gifts.

So, what are you planning?

Well, after the shock of being given a PS3, an array of games aswell as blu-ray's for Christmas, she'll be getting something extra special for Valentines Day.

After proposing on Dec 11, I'm going to cook oven roatsed stuffed chilean sea bass and jumbo crab lump salad and other side dishes yet to be determined. I Hate soup so I found a cooking course that is called global warming with soup. It is a 3 hr course and they sample soups from around the world and they make a few etc......

I must admit it was hard choosing between my dream axiom ht system or the ring but I think I made the right coice........

I just picked her up Chipotle for dinner and Burger King for the kids and I.

We went high class this year.

BTW, I love Ruth's Chris. I try to get there at least 4-6x a year. I wish I could go more, but almost $100 for just my meal is rough.

she wants to go see gnomeo & juliet w/the kids and make it a family thing this year.

we'll probably go out to dinner to apple bee's or the new olive garden in town if it isn't too busy.

Nowhere! Muhahaha.... She's working midnights and sleeping all day =)

However, what she doesn't know is that a dozen roses may or may not show up in the bathroom (first place she goes when she wakes up), and on her day off, take her to a roadhouse so she can get a rib eye steak. =P

Or I could always ......

Nowhere really. We have been together long enough now that we don't really care about celebrating it much. I got her some chocolates and that's it. I think we are just going to watch a movie or some shows.

My ol' lady knows I hate valentines day and anniversaries and I couldn't be bothered because its a waste of money -- so my plot is more of a surprise to her =P

How does your wife feel about Valentines Day? It's strange how some women are totally into it and others have more of an indifferent attitude towards it. My wife is the latter most of the time about Valentines Day. She loves our anniversaries though.

In all honesty, my wife sees it as another occasion to buy herself something without guilt... Sort of like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...

Apparently, I bought her a diamond cross necklace that she has been eyeing up...

She's indifferent. She's not a girly girl all the time, but she's got moments where she likes to be treated like one and get the gushy mushy stuff. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it.... our 5 year anniversary is next month.

I'm so screwed. She'll for sure want something. hmph.
