Cool Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

Any fans of this? I have this coming today in the mail. Played it on the PC and it's great and addictive as hell.

GAMESPOT REVIEW: 8.5

IGN REVIEW: 9.0

Puzzle Quest certainly caught us by surprise. Initially, it seemed like this marriage of RPG-inspired stat management and casual puzzle gaming was doomed to failure. However, Puzzle Quest managed to combine the best aspects of both genres into one nice little package. We went into this game expecting very little, and came away with a whole lot. Puzzle Quest's addictive mixture of role-playing stat progression, and casual gem-matching has resulted in one of the most captivating PSP games this year. The graphical and aural enhancements in the PSP version make it the definitive version of a game that is quickly becoming one of our handheld favorites.

I played this game a good bit. It is a lot of fun, and I never ran into the glitch mentioned above.

I've played the game a ton and never run into that particular glitch either.

On the other hand, the game definitely is glitched in that there are numerous spells that sweep the board in one way or another (creating gems of a type, changing from type 1 -> type 2, etc). If these spells result in too many combinations the PSP will hard lock. This glitch is not limited to the PSP, but still worth knowing about.

*EDIT* Oh yeah, the game. Puzzle Quest is a great game, especially for its price tag. It's one of those games I fire up every 6 months and still manage to lose several hours to, even as many times as I've played it.

I've had this game for a couple of years and it's addicting. Hours can go by playing it.
