I realize that Frank Miller's horrible live action adaptation has seriously damaged the possibility of there ever being another movie adaptation of the spirit but I was wonder if DC might include a 15 minute short of The Spirit as they done with Green Arrow and Jonah Hex?
I really love Will Eisner's work and even the more recent Spirit comics are pretty good and would love to see The Spirit on the screen again and done properly. |

Yeah the movie is horrible, though this all due to Frank Miller's lack of talent and good taste.
Does anyone actually think it's funny to have Sam Jackson dress up as a Nazi? The octopus's sidekick were very annoying comic relief and embarrassing to watch On top of that the movie is completely devoid of any sort of tension. Thanks for wrecking a perfectly good comic Frank! |

Frank Miller's movie is nothing like the original comic or even similar to the more recent comics.
The Spirit's central city is not Frank Miller's version of Gotham City, nor does the film capture the right sense of humor. |
