13 Assassins - Blu-ray Forum

I just saw the trailer for this...really excited now. The site (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/13-As...Blu-ray/20873/) says region b. Anyone actually getting this? I would love to import it if it turns out to be region-free. There is no news for other regions.

A Japanese version is coming out on May 27. Magnolia has the US rights and I assume they are going to release a Blu-ray eventually.

I Love the cover art, too bad its region B, will be waiting for this, why Germany/UK always get the movie I wanted as far as this kind of genre

I just watched it. It was pretty good. I was mainly hoping for a really gory samurai flick and I was kind of disappointed in that regard. There are a few heads getting lobbed off but much of the brutality is implied and off camera and in some cases there's a quick slice of a blade and someone falls over with no visible damage. The first half of the movie is slow but the last 45 minutes it really picks up and a grand battle takes place.

Also, keep in mind, it is does not appear that the German release is English friendly. I had thought about pre-ordering this, but it looks like I'll have to wait for an English friendly release.
