L'assaut (The Assault) - Blu-ray Forum

French distributors TF1 have announced that they will release Julien Leclercq's L'assaut a.k.a The Assault (2010) on Blu-ray on July 12. The film recreates a true event - the hijacking of an Air France jetliner by four members of the Algerian Armed Islamic Group (AAIG), which was aired live on French TV - that occurred on December 24, 1994. The Assault will have its North American premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this week.

I've been looking forward to this being released next week. I think I might order this up with a few other French titles i have been looking at, possibly 'L'avocat' as well.

LAL test says Region B and only mentions french subtitles.
(TF1 is not an english friendly editor usually)

I forgot to update -- the disc has only French SDH subtitles.

Be careful, the movie is encoded in 1080i.

This looks extremely good, shame there is no subtitles in English

still picking it up... Chrysalis looks good too, anyone know if there is English subs on it?
