Network setup 'sanity check' please

Ok all, I have wired internet connections for my 'high traffic' areas - and all of my ports on my switch are filled. I have a single drop going to my Home Theater setup, but I want to share the one drop with:

1 - PS3
2 - XBox 360
3 - BD player
4 - HTPC

Now, I have a spare wireless router with integrated 4 port switch lying around. Is it possible to put the drop into the 'input' of the router, and the 4 outputs to the 4 devices? I would of course disable the wireless to prevent issues with the wireless portion of the home network.
