I actually found a review of the DVD, not the HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. Apparently it's re-edited and even includes a cue from Gabriel Yared's far superior, yet somehow rejected score... Unfortunately I can't find that review now... But here's one from hometheaterforum.com

Having watched the DVD version, my short and simple review would be that it sucked. But I doubt that is what you were after...
