Default Samsung BD-P1200 & SXRD Issues
Greetings all!

I went format neutral and purchased a refurbed Samsung BD-P1200 to go along with my Xbox 360 add-on.

I connected the player via HDMI to my Sony 50" SXRD XBR1.

BD discs play perfectly at 1080i. However, when I attempt to play normal DVDs at 1080i, I get nothing but a blank screen.

I have to switch the player to 720p in order to get a picture. This is tremendously annoying since I have to eject a disc in order to change the resolution.

I have upgraded the player to the latest firmware, but that did not help.

Anyone have the same issue, and what did you do to resolve it?
