With (as of today) 4 releases on the way and 1 already out, I figured there would probably be even more releases on the way. SO, to keep from making several threads, I thought that all news could be posted in this thread.

I don't suppose there's any information out yet about the difference between the regular collection and the ultimate edition? I was actually thinking of buying them individually, but I might as well wait for the complete set.

I'm still waiting for the decade-by-decade collections out on DVD to come to BD, and with the missing featurettes from the single releases.

This. I feel a much greater need for a solid, definitive package than this set with useless goodies just to bump the price.

The standalone release of "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" has been moved up to September 7th according to most retail sites including Amazon.

Great episodes, though I am not sure you can trust WB to properly bring Peanuts to Blu-ray. They did not include the original mono soundtrack on the Christmas BD, which is a crime given how awesome the original score is considered.

Question is, will the "sets" have just cases inside of a cardboard cover or will they also have slipcovers? I believe the single releases will have slipcovers.

The single releases WILL have slipcovers. I'm not sure about the box set though. The DVD version of the box set doesn't have slipcovers, so it may or may not...

It's up to $42.93 now. I'm sure it will come down from there at least as B has it listed for $39.99.
