![]() ![]() After watching SUCKER PUNCH last night, which was just a fair film, certainly not as bad as expected and nowhere as bad and boring as THE SPIRIT, I thought of two things when watching this film: 1. SUCKER PUNCH felt like a portfolio item for Snyder to win the SUPERMAN gig. It felt like an hour & half CGI/action sampler reel of how Zach Snyder can handle epic action scenes, different worlds and CGI. And it's as if the SUPERMAN producers said, "hey, since this sampler reel is an hour and a half long, let's just release it into theaters for kicks! But you definitely have the SUPERMAN gig!" 2. After watching 300, WATCHMEN, OWLS, and SUCKER PUNCH, Zach Snyder seems perfect for directing a film version of D.C. comics THE WARLORD. Anyone else think he would be a good director for D.C. comics THE WARLORD? |
