Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks In Advance - Blu-ray Forum

I brought my ps3 over to my friends whose tv isnt as good. I cant get the ps3 to work on his machine, i think it may be because it is set to 1080p and he only has 720p. Is there a way to reset the ps3. Thanks.

while in stand-by (red light), press and hold the power button until you hear it beep at least twice.

you can change your veiwing options in the setting menu. simply change it from 1080 to 720. My PS3 recognizes it immediately once I hook the HDMI cord to the tv.

I plugged in the hdmi and got sound but no video????? any suggestions... I appreciate it.

I did what someone told me and held the power button down until I heard 2 clicks. Then I ended up having to use the standard cables and went and setup the output to be 1080i instead of 1080p. The hdmi worked perfect after that. Thanks.
