I still miss him dearly. He seemed like a very nice person.

I'll take these:

Blues Brothers
Stripes: Extended Cut
Summer Rental
Planes, Trains & Automobiles
The Great Outdoors
Nothing But Trouble (guilty pleasure)
Cool Runnings

I've already got Home Alone, JFK and Spaceballs. Still need to pick up Vacation and Uncle Buck.

He sure did, and I don't think you had to know him either. Just one of those people who came across as truly genuine. And yeah, I miss him as well.

I'd take just about each one in that list. I have always loved his work.

I never knew John Candy but my accountant who lives in Niagara met him a few times when John visited the area. Apparently a class act.

I saw him in Ottawa when I was at a CFL game and at this time he co-owned the Toronto Argonauts and would attend a lot of the games. He seemed very genuine with the fans who were talking to him and asking for autographs.

Try renting some SCTV if you have zip.ca or Netflix in the U.S. He was hilarious in that series.

I have Uncle Buck and Vacation and he is very good in both movies. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles would be aweome to own on Blu!
