It's been a while since we had one of these threads, and with HP 7 releasing, I thought it would be a good time. The poll applies to new releases for April 12 and April 15. The Incredibles vs Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1

. Obviously, a couple of good Criterion titles in the mix, as well as other releases. You can vote for multiple titles, of you are purchasing more than one movie

I can't wait to get The Incredibles! I've already got my $10 off DMR coupon ready to go, so it will be $14.99 at Best Buy. That's pretty dang good for a new Pixar release.
I have read all the Harry Potter books, and I expected a lot from The Deathly Hallows Part 1, but I was disappointed. I honestly thought it was very boring. Maybe they're saving the best for last, I hope!

I am really looking forward to owning The Incredibles on Blu. My existing DVD already looks great but I'll bet it will be PQ heaven on Blu.

I want to get The Incredibles but I don't want to spend over $20. Doesn't look like that will happen (since I traded my DVD in a while back when this was announced). I'll probably still get it this week.

Just The Incredibles for me. I want to pick up Harry Potter but I've been holding off on purchasing the HP movies on blu as I know they'll probably release some uber edition box set with all the films.

Glad to see a poll and mr read like this Blu. I chose only The Incredibles. I can't see any reasoning buying Cars again as most members already own this and I have no interest in the HP series. Gai was on my wish list though with the packaging being DVD I'm now not purchasing it.

Ga-Rei Zero was ordered, but cancelled because of the choice to turn it from a Blu-Ray set into a DVD+Blu combo (in DVD packaging to get better placement on the DVD shelves opposed to Blu shelves in retail stores). Wasn't terribly interested in it, so cancelling wasn't hard to do, but changing the packaging (and losing the limited edition extras planned) did it for me.

I agree 100% in regards to Gai. BTW I ding see you as often in the deals forum. Did you retire?

I hope they offer some type of alternate - not just for this, but for all of these titles they've recently changed to "DVD+BLU" packs. Whether it's ordering online or offering a Blu Ray coverart.

And no, I check it regularly throughout the day. someone always beats me to posting the deals lately though

Lately? I've stopped as of late! You posted them last year, I did often earlier this year, though the last two months I've stopped staying up for the deals.

Since I never got the first release of Cars on blu and I'm glad I held off when I heard that a re release was coming, I will be getting both Incredibles and Cars. Have my coupons of each ready for Tuesday. Will be at BB right when they open. Feels good to be off work on release day Tuesday which I always am.
