Meek's Cutoff

Great performances by Michelle Williams, Bruce Greenwood, Paul Dano, and Will Patton don't save this extremely boring amateurish film. If this was released as a mainstream film, it would get ripped apart by critics. But since this is an "art-house" film, it's critic-proof. Meek's Cutoff is nothing but a 104 minute snoozefest of people just walking around with nothing to say. Four good scenes in the film don't make it a good film. A very fair to poor film. You couldn't pay me 100 bucks to watch it again. But it's certainly better than any Wong Kar Wai film I've ever seen!

Watch Days of Heaven instead.
