Yes. Universal worked on the video and audio for not only their releases in the UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia but also for the Dreamworks US & Canadian release.

Dreamworks did not have any of the elements to produce the high-definition master or DTS-HD MA audio track so Universal had to do it all.

Either copy you by will have the same visual flaws because of the materials used by Universal and not the encodes specificially.
