Still to this day, Iron Giant was a dvd with a reference soundtrack for animations. Titan AE has it beat though! Great flix

If they do release it, it better have lossless. So far most of the animated features Warner has released have only had Dolby Digital. I think TMNT is the only one they did that has lossless. Oh and Happy Feet in Japan (US version only had lossy).

I'd love to see The Iron Giant on Blu. It's one of my favorite animated movies of all time. Hopefully Warner will put out a new version as opposed to the Special Edition released 4 years ago.

i don't think i found out Vin Diesel was his voice until like a year or so ago - no that i would have known who he was back then...but i watched it many times since it came out

Hasn't been any news from Vin's camp on an Iron Giant Blu-ray (normally he's good about letting fans know)... just chatter about the upcoming XXX and Riddick movies, which are still in the very very early phases.

I remember seeing this when I was 10 and being in awe at the animation. I would love to see this released. A great film from my childhood.

IRON GIANT is an absolutely amazing film. I'm still disheartened that it didn't do better at the box office, but if WB released a quality BD, I'd be first in line to triple-dip.

Why the hell isn't this out on Blu-ray yet? What do Warner Bros. think they are playing at by dragging their heels so much? They royally screwed up the theatrical release, and now they can't be bothered to release The Iron Giant on Blu-ray?
