Default NCIS: LA Season 2

According to tvshowsondvd.com NCIS: LA Season 2 WON"T be released on BD. I'm mad and I don't know why it won't be released on BD.

I'll take s shot in the dark and say that Season 1 didn't sell as anticipated. Thus save costs and just do a DVD only release.

It would actually make more sense at this point to make TV sets combo packs so people get the best of both worlds. (Yeah, I'm a witch burn me). Think about if more studios did this, then the sales would be much better and people won't have to "rebuy" expensive TV season sets again.

Its Paramount right? They have released almost nothing on Blu-ray as far as their TV seasons go. CSI seasons 1 and 9. But those are the only CSI seasons. The only studio with regular releases is Warner, and they don't include lossless audio. TV on BD gets almost no love from consumers or studios...

1st it's White Collar Season 2 and now it's NCIS: LA Season 2. I'm starting to rethink about buying the shows on I like on BD if they aren't gonna release them, why put the 1st season on BD?

I think a majority of the shows will eventually be released in HD, but right now people don't want to spend $60.00-$80.00 per season (which is what they usually cost B&M) for shows like this when the TV season will go on sale for cheap shortly after its released. I for one prefer BD, but if people arent going to buy it, they arent going to make the product. Not until BD is cheaper anyway.

The show is well done but I often find myself skipping it after watching a new NCIS episode right before.

The Deeks character is much better than Dom though.

I wouldn't get your hopes up or anything but Paramount announced the Blu-ray version of NCIS: LA season 1 a month after they announced the DVD version so who knows it could happen again

Studios keep playing games with people.

They say "buy this release so we know you want us to make more"... but if you do buy it, they still might not release the next series.

IF you wait for a complete series, then they will say you should have bought them to keep them coming... BUT if you buy them as they come out, then they will release a complete series set of all seasons and include new bonus material that you can't get without buying everything all over again!

At this point... I don't get why a studio will invest in HD production for a show, and not release the show on Blu-ray for those who want to buy it. I know why they might not go back and re-release old seasons on Blu-ray if they don't think they will sell... but if they don't at least release current seasons of current shows... then sales will never take off.

Sales of TV on DVD took a while to take hold too...
