Default Libbs' Home Theatre

Hey guys. Thought I'd make my own thread.

The first few pictures is of my set-up back home. When I joined the military, they wouldn't pay for me to ship my stuff to where I'm at now because I'm going to school. I plan on getting my audio equipment shipped out here soon anyway.

The last few pictures is of my current set-up. This is what I'm temporarily running:

32" Sony LCD.
Sony HT-SF470 HTIB.
Sony PS3 Slim
Rogers Cable PVR

I currently have a Samsung PN50C8000 tv on order and it should be here in a week or so. I also have plans to update my reciever and buy a power conditioner.

Hello Libbs.

Welcome to the Home Theater Galleries Thread.
You're off to a great start. The new Samsung will give you a whole new perspective. Once it arrives, all you have to do is work a little on the cable management and you have the makings of a formidable setup. You already have a killer speaker package. It's going to be fun watching your progress.

I love the Pardigm speakers. Such a great sound! Can't wait to have them out here! Surprisingly enough, the Sony system isn't half bad. It will make a pretty good bedroom setup (when I eventually buy a house).

@ my cable management skills! It's actually better than it was before. I do have the excess cords zip tied. Any suggestions on a good way to manage my cables?

Yea, invite Brent ("CrazyBlue") to your house & bribe him with either Food/Adult Beverages, and/or $$$$$$$. He is the KING of Cable Management round' these parts.

HERE is any Proof you'll need.

Craze, would you like to do the honors in guiding the newcomer to the proper thread for his inquiry?

Libbs, Craze is one of the cable management Gurus on the site. He will be able to help you in a big way. (I think).

Daaammmnnn LD', I think YOU might be the Winner (not that this is a Contest, btw) - but with ALL your components & tons of Wires/Cords, etc., to get them looking that Tight & Neat is incredible.

But, Brent/Crazy', did an amazing job as well.

Lol, now myself on the other hand...

Thanks for the acknowledgement Craze.

Libbs, the last link Craze pasted will have a wealth of information. You'll see that we all experienced at one time or another, having an out of control cable mess. But with trial and error, it gets better. You'll see.

What about ldg? What about zippo? Hell what about me even...you think wiring up 2 separate setups (2 channel and 5.1) in a confined bedroom space while keeping all cords/wires properly separated was an easy task?
