Hope I'm posting this in the right section if not staff please move it to the correct one.
I've been trying to fix this issue on my own for the last 3 years but nothing I do works so I figured it was high time to ask for help. I know that if you just use speakers that your sound quality isn't going to be very good anyway but since I live in an apartment with people living above me & have a dog who barks already, an SS system is not a viable option. At least for now I'll have to live with PCM. That being said here's my issue. No matter what I seem to do I can't get my sound to even out on either of my HDMI inputs. I have my PS3 hooked to one & my cable box to the other & with both the sound for back round sounds i.e. film scores, crowds cheering during games etc overpower any time any specking is done. I have to crank my tv to hear what anyone is saying. I've tried switching out HDMI cables several times as well as change the settings on the PS3, THE Sony BDP S350 that I was was using before my PS3 & my cable box already so I know that it has to be a balance issue with the speakers but no changes I make have made any difference. I have called Vizio, I've goggled & gotten no answers & I don't want to have to keep dealing with this so I'd be so grateful if anyone who owns a Vizio can help. I don't have my tv box anymore so I don't know my model so I hope that doesn't make any difference. It's a 32 inch 1080p model with 2 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs, a RGB input, an AV input & a tv input. That's all I know. |
