PRE ORDER

Quote:
During a night patrol that goes wrong, Simon and Julie, two ordinary police officers, injure a young executive who has shot dead one of their team members for no reason. Just wondering what others think of this movie. Is it on par with some of the recent French thrillers (like MR 73, 36, Point Blank, Tell No One, etc..) Is it more of a rental/one time watch movie? Feel free to share...I'm debating whether to blind buy (I was also looking at Have Mercy on US All as possibility), Thanks!

Gardiens de l'order is a really average and predictable movie, which is sad because it comes from the man who directed Le convoyeur (with Jean Dujardin and Albert Dupontel), which is a really marvelous movie that I would advice to see (but I don't think it's available on BR though).

Pars vite et reviens tard is just a bit better, but still a pretty average adaptation of the original book.

Both are clearly at on the same level than something like 36 Quai des orfèvres.

i would say rental/watch once too. But it's not a bad movie either.

Thank you, tenia and zardoz for your thoughts. I didn't wanna import something unless I would truly enjoy it. And it sounds like I'll put my blu ray import funds toward something else

Thank you both again!
