Default anyone else use replacement cases?

I had purchases Back to the Future set and hated the packaging. I actually scratched one disc trying to get it in and out. I bought a replacement six disc blu ray case and put them in there. It is thinner than what they came in though and to get the pictures behind it, i will have to cut up the cardboard. Anyone else do things like that?

Yes, in terms of customizing packaging. But no for the part about cutting up the existing packaging to put it in a Blu-Ray case.

Most people around here who do not like existing pacakging usually print up custom cover art to put into a case. There is a thread dedicated to custom cover art here:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...rt-thread.html

Many people put their covers up for others to download. I know some made some BTTF ones available a while back. I'm not sure if they are all still available, but you might want to check it out.

Being a big fan of the series, I downloaded some custom cover art that someone else made (forum member Dv8px). In his case, he made a cover for each movie to have an individual case. I made some personal custom modifications to them for my own liking, and I went to the next extreme in actually making a slip box to put them all in to make the kind of box set that I prefer (I like each movie in their own, normal sized BD case, in a slip box with 1 end open to see the spine of each case):
