Default Robot Chicken Star Wars trilogy

The trilogy is on DVD, so why not Blu-ray. It does't make sense, especially for being a 2012 DVD release (it's not like this is some 2005 release or anything)

Episode III was released on Blu-ray in 2011, but so far the first two episodes haven't. I think they should do a release similar to the Family Guy one. All three in a Blu-ray boxset with iTunes codes included.

What do you think? Wouldn't that be an awesome set to own!

This is the DVD cover art

There really is no reason for a link. Considering 2 of the 3 are SD, it doesn't really mean much.

So that Japanese release still only has the third one in HD, even though they're on Blu-rays?

My apologies. The 1st and 2nd are both in SD. The last is HD.

I know, I was being sarcastic when I said "thanks for the link"

What I wish though, is for a U.S. release in which all three are given an HD scan. But that will probably not happen.

Okay, thanks. Just saved me quite a bit of money, I was planning on buying that set at some point but not if the first two are no better than the much much cheaper DVD counterparts.

There is no HD scan for 1 and 2. They're both SD originally.

Are you sure it's not filmed? It's easier to do Stop Motion on film than on video.
